Knight was a pupil at King Edward VI Aston School in Birmingham before studying at Manchester Metropolitan School of Theatre,graduating in 2
011 from the BA (Hon) Acting course.His parents, Stuart and Lorna, are both teachers.
His father, Stuart Knight, works at Broadway Secondary School in Perry Barr, Birmingham.
